The School Needs TEACHERS and HELPERS

UBIS needs experienced readers with educational skills (either formal or informal), computer skills, and the available time to serve as teacher/facilitators. Those interested in preparing and presenting a course should first experience a taking two or more courses as a student.  UBIS has created a Teacher Training Course for those with the prerequisite experience. Candidates who have successfully completed the Teacher Training Course give their first UBIS course under the tutelage of an experienced Teacher/Facilitator. UBIS Requirements for service as a Teacher/Facilitator are:

  • Experienced reader: has read the entire URANTIA Book, over a period of several years
  • Completion of two previous UBIS courses as a student
  • Recommendations from two UBIS Teacher/Facilitators
  • Completion of the Teacher Training course (approximately 4 weeks)
  • Computer skills - able to troubleshoot minor problems
  • Available time - able to commit several hours a week for four months to the creation, design, and conducting a course. (approximately 2 months preparation time needed on your own time, 2 months conducting the course)
